Microfluidic Devices
Life Micro Fab has extensive experience in helping customers bring their microfluidic device designs to reality. Utilizing the APEX™ Glass ceramic material, LMF can fabricate an array of different size channnels, vias, and other 3D structures in the glass. Microfluidic devices can then be bonded to a second piece of glass to form a hermetically sealed device. Channels as small as 10µm's in width can be fabricated. Through-glass vias (TGVs) as small as 50µm can be added to the device.
Life MicroFab can take your design from protoype to high volume production in a very short time frame due to the ease of working with the photo-structurable APEX™ Glass ceramic. LMF also can finish the microfluidic device with a complete balance of plant to meet the liquid handling requirements.
